There’s a thing you’ve wanted for years. A business, a career change, a project, a rebuild of some part of your life. You’re not confused about whether you want it; you’ve wanted it long enough to be embarrassed about how long. You’re capable. People come to YOU for advice. And yet the thing sits there, surrounded by the wreckage of your previous attempts to want it harder: the courses you bought, the plans you wrote, the Januarys.

What’s missing isn’t information and it isn’t motivation. Two things are missing. The first is the move: the specific, concrete next step that actually fits your situation, which is nearly impossible to see from inside your own head. The second is a structure that makes you take it, especially in the exact moments when your pattern shows up to talk you out of it. Those two things are the entire program. I see the move. The framework makes you take it.

You don’t need to be in recovery to work with me, and plenty of my clients aren’t. Recovery is where I learned this work, under the worst possible conditions, which is precisely why it holds up under normal ones.

How the ninety days work

Three phases. One backbone.

Every week, no matter the phase, has the same backbone: one weekly working session with me, one small daily action you log in about ninety seconds, and direct access to me in between.

Weeks 1 to 3

The Excavation.

We start by naming what’s actually going on, and I mean actually. Where exactly does your thing stall: starting, deciding, finishing, or showing up? Which locks are running and which disguise they’re wearing. The centerpiece is the Lightning Session: one long working session, around two hours, where your thing goes on the table and I do the work I’ve done my whole career. You leave this phase with a one-page Comeback Map and a commitment made out loud. Your daily actions start day one, before any strategy exists. That’s the self-trust engine starting.

Weeks 4 to 10

The Build.

Now we execute. Weekly working sessions on the project itself, with me functioning as the operator in your corner. Meanwhile, your daily log is quietly doing diagnostic work. Every flinch goes in the log in one line, and that flinch log tells me exactly which exercise to deploy and when. The exercises are an armory, not a syllabus. Week 7 is the honest week: we put the Comeback Map next to reality and ask, on purpose, whether this is still the right thing. Stopping is also an action; it just has to be decided, not drifted into.

Weeks 11 to 13

The Handoff.

The product of this program is you unstuck, not you dependent on me. The last three weeks build the structure that runs without me: your accountability system, your protocols for setbacks, your next ninety days, on paper. And we read the record together: week one’s log next to week thirteen’s. Your own handwriting is the one witness the old beliefs can’t cross-examine. You leave holding the complete documented record of the comeback.

Why it works

Open loops cost you every day.

There’s an old finding in psychology that I think about constantly. In the 1920s, a researcher named Bluma Zeigarnik noticed that waiters could remember enormously complicated unfinished orders perfectly, and then forget them the moment the bill was paid. Her experiments confirmed it: the mind grips unfinished business and won’t let go.[1] That’s why your stuck thing follows you into the shower and onto vacation. It’s an open loop, and open loops cost you every single day, whether you work on them or not.

This program closes the loop, in one direction or the other. Ninety days of structure, witness, and motion, pointed at the one thing that’s been quietly taxing you for years. Either it moves, or you decide on purpose to put it down. Both of those are freedom. What you’ve been doing, carrying it open, is the only option that costs everything and buys nothing.

Who this is not for

Honesty saves us both time. This isn’t for you if you’re looking for someone to vent to weekly; I’m warm, but we’re here to move a thing. It’s not for you if you can’t commit ninety seconds a day; the daily reps are the engine, not a suggestion. And it’s not therapy, and doesn’t substitute for it. If the thing in your way is clinical, I’ll say so with respect and point you toward the right kind of help, because I’ve been on the receiving end of that conversation and it matters.
